Jiyoung Hwang is a New York–based, well-rounded Creative Director with over 18 years of multi-disciplinary experience spanning retail, brand building, digital, and social creative. Having built her expertise within New York’s vibrant creative industry, she brings a holistic perspective to creative direction, art direction, design, illustration, and team leadership—making her a versatile problem-solver across channels and touchpoints.

Her work has been featured in Harper's Bazaar for the “Fakes Are Never in Fashion” campaign. She played a pivotal role in elevating Kiehl’s brand after its acquisition by L’Oréal, contributing to a +34% sales spike in Europe in 2010 and helping the brand reach £1.5 billion in revenue.

A strategic thinker, strong brand builder, and creator of beautiful, high-performing assets, Jiyoung is also a retail expert with deep experience translating brand storytelling into elevated in-store and omnichannel experiences. She is currently integrating AI tools into her workflow, staying ahead of the industry’s rapid evolution and continually pushing creative innovation.
